Summary:
Party Poker is the most famous online Poker room and owns more than 50% of the market. It hosts some of the best promotions, competitions, and also some of the weakest opponents. When somebody first thinks to play online Poker, Party Poker is normally the place they will try.

Software: 7/10

Party Poker has recently updated their software, and is now one of the best in the industry. While the graphics remain the same, the presentation has been improved, and many new features added. The most noticeable being the ability to change table-size, simply be dragging the window, like you would with any other program. This allows you to fit 1 or more tables as you wish on your screen, and allows up to 4 tables to show at the same time on a standard 17" monitor.
The cashier function of Party Poker also works extremely well. It updates instantly, and displays your total balance (including what you have on a table). The only downside is that view-flop percentages are not shown in the lobby (although average-pot size is).

Bonuses 8/10

One of the main reason why Party Poker is so popular is because of their bonuses. The sign-up bonus is 20% (maximum $100) which clears at a great rate, as well as getting a free gift from PokerChipStack. Multiple reloads are also offered, as well as competitions, tournaments, bad beat jackpots and Party Points.

Game Variety 9/10

With the highest volume of players, if games such as Omaha and 7-Stud are your thing you would be advised to play where the action is at its highest. The great thing about Party Poker is that there is always a game, night or day.

Ring Games 10/10

Superb ring-game traffic, from the beginners tables all the way to the high-rollers, you simply won't find more traffic anywhere else.

Tournaments 9/10

Party Poker have recently changed their tournament structure. Before, they had one of the worst SNG structure in the industry, with a mere 750 in starting chips and blinds rising rapidly. Now you start with 2000 chips, the highest amount any site currently offers.
The multi-table tournaments are pretty good too, with the Poker million and Party cruise tournament.

Competition 9/10

Party has some of the loosest games you will find, with plenty of newcomers to the game. However, this also means that bad beats and outdraws occur more often, for those who are easily tilted Party can be a frustrating place. For those with a bit of patience and a good temperament Party can become incredibly profitable.

Finance and Customer Services 9/10

The email support from Party Poker is very quick, you often get an email back within 5 minutes. 24/7 telephone support is also offered, and a live floor person is also employed to deal with any issues on the tables. The only drawback is the lack of chat session support, but it's clear to say that you are in safe hands at Party Poker.
The cashier function is very simple and functional. Practically all credit and debit cards are supported, cash-outs are very quick and are as easy as the deposits.
