Summary:
Pacific Poker is brought to you by the 888.com casino site, so it has a reputation for being full of risk-taking gamblers. The level of play is play is extremely low, and the games are tremendously juicy. The slightly lack-lustre software also acts as a deterrent for for the more experienced players.

Software: 7/10

Pacific Poker's software is by nice looking and easy to use. It includes all the standard features that you would expect from an online Poker room, such as note taking, in-turn options and table statistics, and the presentation is nice. The cahier function is also fast and updates instantly.

However, the software can be quite slow, and you can also not play more than one table at a time.
This inevitably, puts off a lot of Poker veterans, which in-turn means looser play.

There is also a non-download flash version, allowing Mac and Linux users to play.

Bonuses 8/10

The sign-up bonus is 25% up to $100. To clear this bonus you will need to wager $20 for every $1. The bonus expires after 90 days.

There are also regular WSOP qualifiers, and royal flush/bad beat jackpots.

Game Variety 7/10

There are plenty of different games to play, and never shortage of traffic. All standard variations of Poker are offered with the exclusion of 5-card draw.

Ring Games 9/10

There is a good amount of ring game traffic, with most of it on limit ring games. You can play limit, no-limit and pot-limit cash games, and full and short-handed tables are available.

Tournaments 9/10

Loads of tournaments take place at Pacific Poker every day. Sit-n-go's, multi-table, sattelites, and a guaranteed $50,000 tournament every Sunday.

Competition 10/10

Pacific Poker attracts the very worst in Poker players, most of them coming from the 888 casino site. Casino players are typically fuelled by the thrill of gambling, rather than focusing on solid Poker play. Pacific Poker is also notorious for it's bad beats, where you will find your opponents calling no matter what. Just keep your patience, and cool head and you can make a lot of money playing simple solid Poker.

Finance and Customer Services 5/10

Very quick customer support is readily available, with a UK based call centre who are very helpful.

Cash outs can be done directly to your credit card, and are fairly quick.
